Gut health is a very broad topic but traditionally, it is known as the balance of microorganisms that live within the digestive system. Most of the bacteria that we contain is found in the gut which is called the gut microbiome of gut flora. There are around 40 trillion bacteria throughout the body. One vitamin that is known to help the gut is Vitamin C due to them having antioxidant properties that help the digestive system absorb iron. Vitamin D is shown to help absorb calcium and minimise the risk of certain cancers. Magnesium tablets are also known for their gut health benefits as they are known to help minimise the inflammation of the gut, meaning it will reduce the feeling of being bloated. 

Exercise Regularly

Exercising has more than one benefit such as promoting a healthy heart, weight loss and maintenance as well as much more. There is a growing obesity issue and can have serious consequences for your gut. Exercise is one of the best ways to tackle the issue as it can improve the variations of bacteria in the body. This is found due to athletes being tested and discovered that they have much higher variation of bacteria within their gut. Eating probiotics can help your gut to produce beneficial bacteria in many ways. Probiotics consume prebiotics which aids in producing more. Prebiotics are not digestible carbohydrates so it is a good job probiotics consume them. Prebiotics are fantastic for probiotics due to them aiding them in many different ways including supporting probiotics on being less delicate to environmental factors such as pH levels and temperature. There are a range of different foods that can be eaten to support your gut by producing more good bacteria.
